~ Treasures ~
“I am so very proud to add Ms. Catherine Elliott to the list of “Valobra’s Treasures”. Although she is very young, she has not failed to universally and positively impress everyone she comes in contact, everyone! Catherine was attacked, in her early teens, by a rare malady which confined her to a wheel chair. Nevertheless, her spirit triumphed over the misfortune, her attitude defeated the disease and she is full of life. She is stunningly beautiful and her happiness and serenity is all but infectious to everyone around her. You cannot help but to love her, and I certainly do. She is a Treasure indeed.”
What was the first piece of jewelry you ever received or purchased for yourself?
Diamond earrings from Franco Valobra! When I was first diagnosed with transverse myelitis (and I hadn’t met him yet in person) he sent me earrings when I was in the hospital with a note that said he wanted me to own and wear a pair of diamond earrings to put some sparkle in my life!
Tell us two of your qualities that make you a gem.
I’ve been told my genuine personality, and radiant happiness.
Rubies, sapphires, or emeralds? And Why?
Emeralds! My mom has collected stones for me and my sisters, and she chose emeralds for me!
