~ Treasures ~
“What an honor it is for me to introduce this month’s Valobra’s Treasure Elizabeth Stein. She is the personification of grace and strength, she is driven to succeed at anything she puts her mind to, and thankfully her mind and heart are set to fundraise for all of the major charitable causes of our beloved city. Elizabeth is outstanding at everything she does and I am proud to call her my friend.”
What was the first piece of jewelry you ever received or purchased?
I really can’t remember the first piece of jewelry that I received but I do remember the first piece that my husband gave me. It was a gold plated miniature ladies pocket watch and we were in the tenth grade. And yes, I still have it and cherish it.
Tell us two of your qualities that make you a gem.

If you could click your ruby slippers together and transport to a vacation somewhere, where would that be?
Vacations were once really hard to come by. Having recently traveled a bit I must say that when I click those ruby slippers now, I declare “There’s no place like home” so my “somewhere” is home with family. I find that time with them is now harder to come by than vacations.
