What was the first piece of jewelry you ever received or purchased for yourself?
The first piece of jewelry that I received which was memorable to me, was a ruby and gold necklace with matching earrings. They hold significance because they were given to my Mother from her Mother on the day I was born. My Mother brought the piece along with the earrings to the States when we migrated from Iran and gave it to me when I was old enough to appreciate it and understand its history and significance in our family.

At this moment, I would click my ruby slippers and travel to Italy. Specifically Venice, Rome and Sardinia. Each for their beauty and historic significance.
